Raw & Natural Treats For Cats

A raw diet wouldn't be complete without the nutritional benefits of nutrient-rich offal. Often referred to as nature's multivitamin, offal provides an abundance of essential vitamins, minerals and nutrients that help your pet thrive.

Compared to regular cuts of muscle meat, organ meats are naturally rich in important B vitamins, including B1, B2, B6, folate and vitamin B12, along with essential minerals such as iron, phosphorus, copper, magnesium and iodine. Offal also provides naturally occurring vitamins A, D, E and K, which play a vital role in supporting healthy vision, immune function, growth, skin and coat condition, bone health and overall wellbeing.

At Somerford Raw & Natural, we believe in feeding pets the way nature intended. That's why our naturally complete and balanced recipes include carefully selected offal to help provide the broad range of nutrients dogs and cats need to thrive at every stage of life. As a community of passionate raw feeders, we know that these nutrient-dense ingredients are an important part of building a strong foundation for lifelong health and vitality.

No need to add anything extra. Somerford Raw & Natural recipes are naturally complete and balanced, providing all the essential nutrients your dog or cat needs to thrive.

Made from fresh, species-appropriate ingredients and nutrient-rich offal, our meals are carefully formulated to deliver balanced nutrition in every bowl. This means there's no need to add supplements, vitamins or other foods to complete your pet's diet.

As part of our raw feeding community, you can enjoy the confidence of knowing you're feeding a naturally complete and balanced diet that supports your pet's health, wellbeing and vitality through every stage of life.

Our Somerford Raw family knows that raw feeding delivers the greatest nutritional benefit, but we also understand that some pets need a gentle transition — and that’s perfectly okay within our community.

Our meals can be lightly cooked if needed. Simply warm the food over medium heat for a few minutes, just until the colour and texture begin to change. As your pet grows more confident with their new diet, you can gradually reduce the cooking time until they’re enjoying their meals completely raw.

Because heating can remove up to 60% of nutrients, feeding raw gives your pet the richest, most biologically appropriate nutrition — the kind our community is proud to stand behind.

Many modern pet foods contain grains, fillers, preservatives and artificial additives that may not suit every pet. For some dogs and cats, simplifying the diet and feeding fresh, species-appropriate ingredients can be a helpful step when investigating food sensitivities or allergies.

At Somerford Raw & Natural, many members of our raw feeding community have found great success using our Salmon or Kangaroo recipes as part of an elimination diet. These novel protein options can be an excellent choice for pets experiencing itchy skin, digestive upset or other signs of food sensitivities.

When undertaking an elimination diet, it's important to feed just one protein source for up to six weeks, without introducing other proteins, treats or extras. This allows you to monitor your pet closely and identify whether a particular protein may be contributing to their symptoms.

Our naturally complete and balanced recipes make this process simple, providing all the nutrition your pet needs while helping you determine which proteins work best for them. As always, our friendly team is here to help guide you through the journey and support your pet on the path to better health and wellbeing.

Yes. If you need to, you can safely thaw Somerford Raw & Natural food in the refrigerator, portion it into smaller servings and refreeze it. This can be especially helpful for puppies, kittens, small pets or households that prefer to prepare meals in advance.

For best results, keep the food refrigerated while portioning and refreeze it as soon as possible. Once thawed, we recommend avoiding repeated thawing and refreezing of the same portion to help maintain freshness and quality.

As part of our raw feeding community, we're all about making fresh feeding easy and practical. Preparing meal-sized portions ahead of time can be a great way to simplify mealtimes while ensuring your pet continues to enjoy the benefits of fresh, naturally complete and balanced nutrition.
